Women have been married in Semarang City 69.2 Percent

December 22nd every year is celebrated as Mother's Day in Indonesia. Behind the mother figure, there is a woman who has ever been married (either married / divorced / divorced). From the results of the 2020 National Social and Economic Survey (SUSENAS) organized by BPS, it was recorded that 69.2 percent of women aged 15-49 years have been married.

Of this percentage, 24.6 percent of them have junior high school education and below and 5.3 percent of women have the status of the head of the household. Judging from the age at first marriage, the average woman in Semarang City gets married at the age of 23.

In terms of fertility, 44.7 percent of women are on family planning and 5.2 percent have never been pregnant.
