On Wednesday, September 16, 2026, Kartikowati, S.Si., Junior Expert Statistician at BPS Semarang City, participated in the Capacity Building for Strengthening Regional Food Balance Projection Reporting organized by Bank Indonesia Central Java Province.
Held at the Gumaya Hotel Ballroom in Semarang City, the activity was part of efforts to strengthen reporting on regional food balance projections. The capacity-building session brought together representatives of institutions involved in compiling and reporting data related to regional food conditions.
Through the activity, participants strengthened their understanding of regional food balance projection reporting at the regency/city level. The forum also provided an opportunity to align perspectives and enhance interinstitutional coordination in providing data to support food condition analysis.
BPS Semarang City's participation reflects its continued commitment to strengthening statistical quality and supporting the availability of data for evidence-based planning and policymaking.
