The Gender Empowerment Index (IDG) describes the gap in human development achievement between men and women. by measuring the active participation of men and women in economic, political and decision-making activities.Semarang Municipality Gender Development Index in 2020 reached 95.49. The IPG score is still below 100, so it can be concluded that in general, men are still higher than women in enjoying the results of development. Achievement of both the IPG and IDG results, however, leaves no easy work and tasks, especially those related to the issue of disparities in human development achievements between genders.
